In Vitro Studies on Rumen Fermentation and Methanogenesis of Different Microalgae and Their Effects on Acidosis in Dairy Cows

چکیده
Two in vitro studies were carried out on nonlactating dairy cows. Experiment 1 compared the methanogenesis and rumen fermentation parameters of various microalgae (Spirulina platensis, Chlorella vulgaris, Schizochytrium spp.) protein feeds (sunflower meal, soybean alfalfa hay) with monensin (MON). Rumen determined by an gas production system. 2 ability three to prevent acidosis. They tested for 6 h against oat straw (100 mg) MON (12 g/mL) ameliorate ruminal acidosis caused addition glucose (0.1 as a fermentable carbohydrate fluid. In experiment 1, there variations nutrient content sources. The dry matter substrates ranged from 90 94%, organic 82 88%, spp. having highest. Protein algae 18–62% (DM) 16–48% DM, S. platensis C. vulgaris ether extract (45.5% DM) was highest any substrate. revealed that increased cumulative at level while decrease. Ruminal pH found be higher (6.95) (6.77–6.81) than (6.37–6.50). addition, terms metabolizable energy digestible matter, outperformed algae. produced least amount methane (CH4) substrate, but demonstrated potential CH4 reduction. these groups, decrease accompanied total volatile fatty acids, acetate, acetate-to-propionate ratio, increase propionate. most effective cure controlling However, had effect medium culture prevention. This study can influence fermentation, have reduce production, may incidence rates. These assumptions, however, must validated through vivo studies.

Thymus kotschyanus Essential Oil Components and Their Effects on in vitro Rumen Fermentation, Protozoal Population and Acidosis Parameters
This study aimed to identify chemical composition of Thymus kotschyanus essential oil (TKEO) and to evaluate the effects of different doses of TKEO on in vitro gas production, fermentation parameters, acidosis and protozoal population using a completely randomized design with four replicates. Two diets (D1: 100% forage and D2: 30% forage+70% concentrate) were incubated with buffered rumen fluid...

on translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach
abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...

Evaluating in vitro dose-response effects of Lavandula officinalis essential oil on rumen fermentation characteristics, methane production and ruminal acidosis
Four in vitro experiments (Exp.) were conducted to evaluate lavender essential oil (LEO) effects at 0 (control), 250 (low dose), 500 (medium dose), 750 and 1000 µL per L(high doses) of incubation medium on rumen gas production kinetics (Exp.1), ruminal digestibility and fermentation (Exp.2), methane production (Exp.3) and rumen acidosis (Exp.4). The asymptote of gas production (A) incr...
